Kalanamak Rice is an exquisite indigenous scented Rice variety, which derives its name from Kala (attributed to the black colour of the paddy) & Namak (attributed to the saline soil where this paddy best grows). When Lord Budha visited Kapilavastu for the first time after attaining nirvana, he gave this rice as Prasad to the villagers. This rice is Diabetic Friendly, given its low Glycemic Index.
Ingredients:
Lemon Fruit, White Salt, Black Salt, Rock Salt, Saunth, Mirchi Powder, Methi dana, Saunf, Ajwain, Jeera, Garam Masala, Sugar/ Jaggery, Heeng.
Storage:
- Store in a cool, dry place
- Avoid contact with water
- Keep jar in sun to extend shelf-life.
